So, I think I'll call my little creative endeavor "The Happy Spitter," helping to make the things that are not-so-cute about babies a little cuter.
If you want a burp cloth or a paci holder (pictures to come later) just email me! (Burp cloths are $5 a piece for monogrammed, or $3 a piece for plain fabric/ribbon) I have fabrics for boys, girls and either-or!
yay!! they are perfect and I definitely think you are undercharging! I can't wait to send these to my friend.

so cute!! i agree...definitely undercharging.
ReplyDeleteAwesome! One of my cousin's friends is doing this and she actually generated a lot of business just by putting her items up in an album on Facebook. She puts up on her Facebook album a photo of every burp cloth or other item (t-shirts, onesies, etc.) that she makes. She labels it with the price. If it was already sold (or was just for her kids), she just puts that in the label. But they all have a price. I've noticed that people get on and comment and say they want to buy the ones that are available, and other people get on and say, "Make me one just like this, but with this monogram." Seems like she's generating a lot of "friend" business just through Facebook. And, I think you can certainly charge more. She charges $8 for a monogrammed burp cloth. (Though she is using machine embroidery with applique - but I actually like your applique monograms even better.)
ReplyDeleteLove them! No need for them anytime in the next 9 months, but I'll be contacting you when we do need them. You and your mom were always creative!
ReplyDeleteI think you and Caitlyn need to hook up and go in together on selling your cute stuff!
ReplyDeletei wish i had a baby to buy a burp cloth for!
