I have been convinced to start blogging. ("Twist my rubber arm," as my husband says.)
I did this for several reasons:
1. The vast amjority of our family is out-of-state. Since not many of them are facebookers, this is an easy way to see pictures of the little babe and get updates on our life
2. I think it may be beneficial, personally, to write about some of the things that go through my head during the day. I resisted blogging until now because I seriously doubt any of my musings will be of interest to the general public, or even friends/family, but maybe it will help me sort through things
3. In a web-world way, this provides much needed adult interaction in a day filled with cooing at my 6-month-old
Here's what you should expect:
- pictures of Zoe, and probably me gushing about how perfect she is
- latest sewing projects
- latest recipe attempts
- rambling about life
Sound good? I'm not convinced yet, but let's try this crazy blogging thing and see how it goes!
You go phos zoe, girl! And I'm the first to comment--how cool is that? Of course I love blogging, so I'll put you on my favorites. If you want folks to be able to get email notification each time you post, just put a feeder on your site and we can sign up. I'm in. Mother and daughter are beautiful. Just don't post picture of Ethan. Kidding, of course--he's gorgeous, too! love you all.

ps-good name... the person who gave you the inspiration must be awesome.
Fabulous! I'm sure you'll be much more consistent than me . . . although that's not saying much! About once a month is my aim. I've officially added you to my favorite blogs! (no pressure)
ReplyDeleteFun! I'm looking forward to reading!
ReplyDeleteYAY!! Another blog to put on my favorites list...a list I check DAILY...no pressure. ;-) Of course, 4 of my other faves have already commented above. I, too, have been mulling over whether or not to begin a blog. As much as I love facebook, I sometimes feel it is a bit limiting. Happy blogging!

hooray for blogging
ReplyDeleteIn the 50s & 60s, Memphis used to have both a morning and an evening paper delivered. I've missed the Memphis Press-Scimitar... come home from school, bring in the mail, bring in the paper, sit down to dinner... and now voila! blogging is so much more edifying... Fos & Zoe are the SMS tag line... Great writing! Good luck with the spit business... at least you know there's a huge, never ending demand!
